Two Outdure products, QwickBuild and ResortDeck were specified for a new deck at St Vincent’s aged care facility in Bronte, Sydney. A curved deck needed to be built in the entrance courtyard and cafe area of the residential aged care facility.

A key challenge for the project architect, Boffa Robertson and builder ADCO Constructions was that the deck needed to be semi-circular to conserve an existing heritage tree.

Outdure prefabricated curved QwickBuild deck frames and designed footings to avoid damaging the tree roots. While the QwickBuild frames were installed on natural ground, ResortDeck was installed flush with the adjoining concrete for a no-trip and easy care maintenance solution. The curved deck covered an area of 85 square metres.
