Operating differently from typical UV water treatment systems, the Crossfire technology uses dual smart UV sensors that are mounted in air. The lamps are air-cooled and maintain consistent levels of UV output for maximum pathogen deactivation. Pathogens removed include viruses, bacteria, cryptosporidium, giardia and legionella.
To ensure flow rates are achieved, UV Pure Hallet ultraviolet water disinfection systems can be configured in parallel formation.
The Crossfire technology is simple to install and utilises a stainless steel wiper to clean the inside of the quartz tube. It is practically maintenance free and is as simple as changing a light bulb because draining the system is not necessary.
