Aquaflex waterproofing tape, available from International Trading & Consulting (ITC) , offers a complete, long term waterproofing system for corners, joints and penetrations in areas such as bathrooms, showers, kitchens, facades, and balconies.  Aquaflex waterproofing tape can expand up to 170%, so even if cracks appear many years after the building has been completed, the corners and joints remain waterproof, since the waterproofing tape remains intact.

Aquaflex waterproofing tape has been rigorously tested by the CSIRO and complies with a range of waterproofing Standards commonly used to test the suitability of waterproofing materials for prevention of water leakage.

Aquaflex waterproofing tape has been tested for durability according to AS/NZS 4858:2004 Appendix A: Durability of Wet Area Membranes, and found to be extremely durable and easily passed the requirements.

Aquaflex waterproofing tape was tested for reliability according to AS/NZS 4858:2004 Appendix B: Appendix B: Assessment of resistance of waterproofing membranes to cyclic movement, and found to easily pass with no fatigue cracking exhibited.

Aquaflex waterproofing tape was tested for leak proofing according to ASTM E96 Moisture Vapour Transmission, and found to easily comply with a very low water vapour transmission rate.

Aquaflex waterproofing tape was also tested for suitability for use over composite or particleboard according to AS 3558.1:1999 and the waterproofing tape easily complied.

With this testing regime completed, it is clear that the Aquaflex waterproofing tape offers an easy to install, inexpensive, long term, reliable waterproofing system for a range wet areas.
