International Trading & Consulting (ITC) have developed a complete waterproofing solution for bathrooms, balconies, facades and kitchens. Aquaflex is a 105 millimetre tape with a 20 millimetre expansion zone. It can expand by up to 170% to prevent leaks if cracks appear in foundations due to building movement, vibrations or temperature changes. Aquaflex can be used on walls and floors with the addition of any liquid waterproofing membrane, and it takes virtually no time to dry. It is resistant to acid, alkali and most solvents, can be used both indoors and outdoors, and functions effectively in temperatures ranging between -40 degrees and 90 degrees Celsius.
Aquaflex XL has been specifically designed to provide long term leak protection in outdoor areas such as roofs, facades and balconies. It features glass fibre mesh reinforcement for added bonding strength when applied with any common bonding material. Aquaflex XL is resistant to most chemicals and can withstand temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius. Using heat treatments, it can be modified to form connections and corners to waterproof difficult joints.
