The Master Builders Australia Housing & Construction Award for Women
in Building went to Caroline Andrews, Contract Administrator at FDC
Construction & Fitout.
Caroline received the honours at a recent ceremony in Brisbane in the
presence of some of the biggest names in the construction industry.
In its 27th year, the prestigious MBA Awards continue to recognise and
honour some of the best and brightest stars in the construction industry. Each
year, the awards program draws over a thousand entries in various categories
from across the region.
Caroline expressed her happiness at winning against tough competition. She
appreciates the fact that organisations such as the MBA are recognising the
work of women in the industry; she also thanked FDC for providing her the
platform to prove her capabilities and skills.
The award was judged on a number of parameters including involvement in
and commitment to the industry, working knowledge, project experience and
team-building aptitude.
Master Builders’ Executive Director Grant Galvin congratulated all 54
winners of the evening, stating that the entries displayed exceptionally high
standards, demonstrating the talent and expertise available in the industry.
