Master Builders Association of NSW offers a range of courses specifically designed for the construction industry to create greater awareness and understanding of working with asbestos.

Asbestos training is important for all construction workers, given the hazardous effects of the material on human health. Asbestos can be found in ceiling tiles, floor tiles, roofing shingles, eaves, pipes and showers.

The safety training courses delivered by Master Builders Association of NSW cover wide-ranging topics from identifying asbestos at the worksite, to safe handling and correct disposal of asbestos, and supervising teams handling asbestos.

Asbestos Awareness Course

RNF - Remove Non Friable Asbestos Course

Learn how to correctly identify and dispose non-friable asbestos-containing materials found in structures or soils to minimise risk in the workplace. The course is ideal for anyone working in the building and construction industry.

SAR - Supervise Asbestos Removal Course

The Supervise Asbestos Removal course is suitable for people responsible for managing a worksite or supervising a team. This short course is designed to train participants in instructing and monitoring workers on a jobsite to ensure that they are correctly handling, removing and disposing of asbestos-containing materials.
