Magnetic Automation has developed a technologically advanced device which can detect vehicles without contact using a microprocessor controlled, single channel MID detector. The Loop Detector MID 1E can detect induction loops, cars, trucks, fork lifts and any vehicle with a metal structure. Applications include barrier controls, parking and traffic technology and door and gate controls. The sensitivity of the Loop Detector is adjustable through frequency deviations.
The operation principle of the presence relay is simple as there is only one pulse per output, and can be easily changed using the DIP-Switch. Frequency adjustment uses a two step, 3 pole connection jack in the front panel. The green LED signals on the Loop Detector MID 1E notifies the user that it is ready for operation, while the red LED signal notifies the user that relay output depends only on the occupational status of the loop.
