Paqworks has released a new generation of industrial IP cameras from Mobotix.
The M12 cameras are optimised for video applications such as process monitoring, security or OH&S and connect directly into a switch port on the LAN.
Power is provided over the CAT5 cable using PoE (Power over Ethernet). Live video can be viewed directly in any SCADA package using the free ActiveX Plug-In. High quality video can also be viewed and stored on any local or remote PC/Server.
Day and night megapixel CMOS lenses provide good image quality under all lighting conditions at up to 30 FPS.
A wide operating temperature, IP 65 rating and no moving parts make it suited to harsh environment applications such as above or underground mining, electricity utilities and general manufacturing.
The new generation camera delivers a distributed intelligence approach to monitoring industrial processes. The Mobotix range complements Paqworks range of industrial networking and communications solutions.
