As part of the new city rail project in Perth, the Esplanade Station utilised Leda-Vannaclip’s Slimline design 150NB bollard in grade 316 stainless steel.

The project involved the supply and installation of 32 bollards in total, 7 of which incorporated 180° lighting.

Installation for this project required a multiple stage process, whereby all the footings for the bollards were trenched and cast (including underground conduits for the lighting bollards) and then paved over.

Leda-Vannaclip were then required to core drill through the pavers and into the footings and grout the bollards in place.

Maintaining the correct installation line and curvature with the roadside kerb proved to be difficult at first, but was eventually overcome to ensure that the end result would be aesthetically pleasing.
