Location: Norm Raven Reserve, Diggers Rest, VIC
Project: Using Landmark Products' standard K403 pavilion shelter as a reference, its staff worked closely with Melton Shire Council and 2MH Consulting to design a striking, high impact structure with traditional aesthetic and imposing specifications.
Among other modifications, increasing the roof pitch to 35° and increasing the size from a standard 6m x 6m to 7m x 7m required the use of an RHS ring beam to all posts.
The client requested the use of 200mm x 200mm hardwood posts, decoratively saw cut to the outside face. The size of the shelter and posts further required the design of custom brackets to anchor the structure.
