Client: MFS Diversified Group (Villaworld)
Location: Freshwater Estate, Anderson Street, Berrinba, QLD
Project: Like most products of Landmark Products, its Stromlo viewing platforms are fully customisable in respect of shape, dimensions and handrail options.
MFS Diversified chose a rectangular platform with customised handrails for a contemporary aesthetic at Freshwater Estate at Logan in Queensland.
Landmark drafting and engineering staff addressed the installation concerns on a problematic site including footings to 16m of low quality backfill by installing the platform with high level footings: timber piles on screw piles which are encased in concrete.
The resulting platform provides a structurally sound, all access feature which is bound to find favour with the public.
Products: Modified 6m x 4m Stromlo viewing platform and 9m x 1.5m ramp with custom disabled compliant handrails. Hardwood piles, bearers, decking, kick rail and cap rail, and stainless steel wire safety barrier.
