Design students from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) have been working with products from the Laminex Group to develop storage solutions that address the needs of our changing living environment. The completed designs will be shown on the RMIT stand at Furnitex that opens in Melbourne on Thursday.

“The Laminex Group is delighted to encourage new talent within the design world,” says Chris Mouat, chief executive officer of Laminex. “Our focus is very much on providing products that enable designers to realise their ideas. Transforming the creative concepts of design students speaks volumes about the adaptability of the Laminex Group’s current range of products.”

Students used Trespa Athlone, Trespa Meteon, Solid Core Fusion and Custom Art Fusion from Laminex in their designs, with the winning design announced by Mouat on Thursday.
