The Laminex Group is excited to announce its involvement in an inspired architectural design project, Uptown at Ivy, Sydney. The second salon from stylist-to-the-stars Brad Ngata is a space of dream-like beauty and innovation. As leading industry specialists, The Laminex Group is proud to be the supplier of products which were used to fit this grand venture.

The salon realises the fantasy of Brad Ngata, architect Scott Weston and designer Gregory Phillips, encompassing striking trimmings that include pink velvet curtains, pastel suede banquettes, polished parquetry floors and elaborate, decorative walls.

Scott Weston Architecture and Design, a leading design practice of Sydney recognised for its award-winning architectural, interior and graphic design projects, specialises in singular well crafted, cost effective solutions. The design philosophy of this project was to create a witty, chic salon and Scott Weston worked to ensure it included quirky, memorable and unique touches.

Laminex Fusion Surfaces – Custom Art played a crucial role in creating the salon. Used on interior salon walls, as splashbacks and benchtops, as well as the reception desk, Laminex Fusion Surfaces enhanced the French fantasy, providing an innovative and stylish design solution which seamlessly blends with its lavish surroundings.

Fusion Surfaces offer designers a plethora of choice, with hundreds of exclusive designs and colours, or the option to design an original image and unique graphic identity. The use of Laminex Fusion Surfaces – Custom Art allowed flexibility in creating a distinctive design aesthetic for the salon.
