Kohler Co takes their design crush on metals to new levels with the introduction of a new Titanium-finish range of tapware for bathrooms. One of the world’s most precious metals, Titanium is spotlighted in the Avid tapware collection by Kohler.
Kohler has added a beautiful set of tapware in a lustrous Titanium PVD finish to their award-winning Avid collection. Avid won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2015 for its polished chrome tapware.
The new basin mixers in the Avid Titanium tapware collection are characterised by a gentle, fluid form rising from the benchtop and stretching to a slender, tapered spout. The lever control is an extension of the body of the tap with no harsh edges, sharp angles or unnecessary embellishment. Consisting of Standard, Tall and Super Tall basin mixers as well as a three-piece widespread model, a wall mount basin mixer and shower mixers, the Avid collection showcases a durable, corrosion-resistant Titanium finish achieved by PVD technology (Physical Vapour Deposition).
A customised finish system that vaporises the finish and molecularly bonds it to the chrome surface, PVD technology produces a finish that is resistant to tarnish, scratch and corrosion. All Kohler finishes exceed industry standards and carry a 15-year warranty.
The basin tapware in the Avid Titanium collection has a 5 star WELS rating, using six litres of water a minute.
