Roof and wall products from Kingspan Insulated Panels were used to create an efficient and high performing building envelope for Macarthur Square Shopping Centre.
Built in 2016 by Lendlease, the shopping centre features 20,000sqm of Kingspan’s trapezoidal roof panels (KS1000RW) as well as insulated membrane lined gutters.
The underside of the roof panels features Kingspan's Bright White liner, which contrasts with the carefully planned placement of building services and HVAC. It also ensures an open bright feeling within the building while reducing cost for the end client by eliminating the need for a suspended ceiling.
Additionally, Kingspan’s architectural wall panels (KS1000 AWP) were used on the building's exterior in various shades and profiles to create a modern and textured look.
Overall, the building envelope was designed to be efficient and low maintenance while providing cost savings without compromising either performance or aesthetics.
