solutions for fire and smoke door assemblies help create fire-resistant
compartments without compromising accessibility, while restricting the spread
of fire and smoke.
Kilargo’s fire and smoke seals have been explained in a new reference
tool ‘Sealing Solutions for Fire and Smoke Door Assemblies’.
Two new sealing solutions from Kilargo are featured in the guide,
including KP1504AS and KP2004AS, the high-performance sodium silicate based
intumescent fire and smoke strip seals that expand in the event of a fire to
effectively seal off the door perimeter.
