Two mature trees measuring 4.5 metres tall and each weighing 400-500kg were among items moved up a steep block by Asset Landscape Design with a tracked mini dumper that was hired from Kennards Hire .
Soil, sand, concrete, 2.4m long railway sleepers, crushed granite and bluestone stepping stones were also transported on the mini dumper.
Craig McDonald, operator of Asset Landscape Design, explained that two timber ramps were erected at the side of the house so that the dumper could reach the first level of the backyard, with three more ramps to higher levels.
The 800kg capacity tracked mini dumper can be hired from Kennards in Sydney, while 500kg capacity high-tip dumpers are available throughout the company’s network of more than 100 hire centres throughout Australia.
