Mini excavators from Kennards Hire have taken on an unusual new role.
Retaining Specialists, a ground engineering and construction company, often hires 3.5 tonne mini excavators to use on the installation of sheet pile retaining walls.
The company has jobs around Australia, so the fact that Kennards Hire has so many branches suits them perfectly. And they have also been impressed by Kennards’ willingness to adapt their mini excavators.
Neal McQuade, from Retaining Specialists, explains that they offer a number of solutions for rock and soil stabilisation. The use of mini excavators is a relatively new addition to the range.
He says, “It is a commonsense system which we have revived and improved.”
“We have had a lot of success with this system Australia wide, and it is generating a lot of interest.
“It’s important for us to work with a good hire company, and we have developed a good relationship with Kennards people wherever we have worked.”
