Kennards Hire are replacing older hot water blasters with a powerful new electric model, designed for tough industrial and construction applications.
The new machine, which can be hired across Kennards Hire’s network of more than 90 branches, is ideal for removing grease, oil and food deposits, including chewing gum.
The new hot water blaster is single phase, easy to use, strong and designed for continuous operation.
The machine delivers 1500psi pressure, a flow of 11 litres per minute and water temperature up to 140 degrees.
Detergent can be added, but is unlikely to be needed for most applications. The Bertolini triplex pump features stainless steel valves, exclusive double seal system and solid ceramic pistons for long life and durability.
Steam is generated through a diesel fired boiler with stainless steel AISI 304 fire box and chimney. The machine and the operator are protected by a safety system that includes a thermal dump valve and inbuilt safety valve to protect against pressure spikes.
The pump and motor run at a slow speed of 1450rpm. Kennards Hire also have electric and petrol-powered cold water blasters.
