A new, heavy duty mini loader with a wider profiler attachment can be hired from specialist equipment provider, Kennards Concrete Care .

The wider profiler attachment is 250mm wide, 100mm wider than other attachments that are available for hire with mini loaders. This new wider profiler almost doubles productivity while retaining the weight advantage mini loaders enjoy over larger skid steer loaders.

The new mini loader is fitted with 415 Volt and diesel motors, non-marking tyres and an in-built generator to power an on-board dust extraction system. The profiler has a cutting depth that is adjustable and it can remove up to 35mm in a single pass. These wider profilers are being added progressively to Kennards Concrete Care hire centres throughout Australia.

Thomas and Coffey Limited used the new profiler while constructing an electricity substation for Energy Australia at Kurnell in southern Sydney. Around 2000 square metres of newly poured concrete needed to be scrabbled before a topping mix of 65-80mm was applied.

Daryl Jurd, Site Manager explained, “These units are a lot more efficient, which means you can get the job done more quickly,”

“The extra 100mm in the width of the profiler really makes a difference when you have a large area to cover.”

Kennards Concrete Care hires a wide range of equipment for concrete related jobs, from demolition, grinding and stripping through to drilling, cutting and cleaning.
