Leading Australasian luxury vinyl flooring specialist Karndean Designflooring has expanded their Korlok floating floor collection with the addition of 8 new designs.

The eclectic Korlok collection, which now includes 20 authentic on-trend wood designs inspired by Australian, European and North American woods, ranges from an oak sourced from the forests around Oxfordshire England to timber reclaimed from a wonderfully weathered barn in America.

The Korlok collection features the innovative K-Core technology that allows installation over most existing hard surface floors or uneven subfloors without the worry of exposing any imperfections underneath.

Key features also include a superior 5G vertical click locking mechanism backed by a lifetime warranty; pre-attached acoustic foam backing for quick and easy installation; 19dB reduction in noise transfer to rooms below without the need for separate underlay; larger format 1420mm x 225mm planks; quieter underfoot compared to traditional laminate; waterproof material; simple cleaning and maintenance; compatibility with underfloor heating; and assurance of a 15-year commercial warranty.

The Korlok floating floor collection is recommended for an array of commercial environments including multi-level spaces such as offices, apartments and student accommodation.

“Unlike other floating floor products and click laminate flooring, Korlok can be scored and snapped for ease of installation,” explained Damien Boyer, Head of Commercial Sales at Karndean Designflooring.

“The superior click-locking system and enhanced core technology means flooring contractors can achieve an authentic and luxurious floor in any space with minimal subfloor preparation and without the need for adhesive.

“Korlok is a real time-saver for specifiers working to challenging deadlines and commercial clients looking for less upheaval and disruption,” Boyer concluded.
