JD MacDonald is set to launch EnviroTube, an innovative ‘greener’ chute solution that is targeted specifically at the linen and garbage chute industry.
A fully operational replica of the EnviroTube recycled plastic chute will be on display at the DesignBUILD Exhibition in Melbourne from Wednesday June 23 to Friday June 25. JD MacDonald is located at Stand L32 in the Green Building Zone.
The EnviroTube garbage chute is engineered and manufactured from recycled plastics and is low maintenance and offers fast and easy installation and an ultra smooth finish. EnviroTube plastic linen or garbage chutes offer a cost effective and quieter alternative to the traditional steel or cement chute systems.
David Waldron, JD MacDonald‘s Managing Director recently explained, “The EnviroTube is a revolutionary product. Made from a guaranteed blend of 100% recycled plastic materials, it is a light weight alternative to the traditional stainless steel chute. As such, the light weight sections enable ease of installation, eliminating the need for costly specialist lifting equipment. Each section of the chute is 5mm thick, which consequentially reduces impact noise and vibration levels, resulting in a quieter chute solution. As is the case with traditional steel chutes, Acoustic treatment is not required for the EnviroTube due to the thickness of each tube section.”
David continued to explain that the EnviroTube garbage chute is a self cleaning unit that reduces the build up of bacteria and resists offensive odors, making it the ideal chute solution for commercial and residential applications.
Geoff Barry, JD MacDonald’s Commercial Manager also commented, “There is something particularly rewarding about supplying a Chute System that is not only easy to install, but is environmentally conscious too.”
