Leading sunshade solutions, Issey Sun Shade Systems showcased a couple of new products for its residential and commercial customers at DesignBUILD Expo in Melbourne.

With more than 25 years experience in the industry, Issey knows how to create elegant, high quality, customised external and retractable sun shade systems.

“Issey is a company that’s been established for 25 years in Australia and we do a range of sunshade solutions for residential and commercial customers around Australia,” said Issey’s Sales Manager (NSW/VIC), Nicholas Hudson.

“We specialise in customised solutions for people and we look after the end-to-end process, from product design to manufacture, right through to installation.”

Issey’s Rollerfall retractable waterfall window awning was on display at DesignBUILD. Dubbed as a designer climate control, the Issey Rollerfall can offer shade and protection to sunrooms, waterfall windows, glass enclosures and skylights.

“It’s a traditional vertical screen that is used in a lot of projects”, explained Hudson.

“This blind rolls down and turns at an angle. We’ve done this for specific projects in the past where the architects wanted something different for their building, wanted something that’s not just a straight line from top to bottom. We’ve developed a system to run with the building, on a multi-storey building.”

According to Issey, the Rollerfall’s enduring design will provide customers with timeless enjoyment and several features.

“(Providing) visibility, not losing their view, but still reducing heat, reducing glare and creating greater comfort within their home.”

What does Infolink mean to Issey?
“Digital media is very important to us. More and more, there’s been a big shift in marketing in the last few years and it’s important for us to look at how customers want to find us these days, how architects specify us and how builders and people in the industry want to find us. Infolink is part of that we’re interested in,” concludes Hudson.
