Invisi-Gard screen enclosures offer an efficient solution to make the most of valuable undercover spaces such as patios in your home.

When building or moving into a new home, it’s difficult for anyone to know what they need until they start living in the space. This Rockhampton, QLD family was in a similar situation until they realised they could maximise the use of their undercover entertaining area if they enclosed it with Invisi-Gard screens.

Without making any changes to the existing building framework, the family was able to easily adapt the undercover space to accommodate an Invisi-Gard patio screen enclosure with sliding door screens. The high visibility Invisi-Gard screens allow natural light and ventilation as well as keep out insects and other vermin, while enabling the space to retain its outdoor feel.

Standard flyscreens are also designed to keep out insects; however, they cannot protect the house against impact, knife or jemmy attacks. Invisi-Gard screens are made from 316 marine grade stainless steel with the mesh woven into an extremely strong, flat surface and secured within an aluminium frame using Invisi-Gard’s patented extreme grip protection (EGP) retention system.

This unique design prevents corrosion by ensuring there is no contact between the stainless steel mesh and the aluminium frame, while locking the mesh securely in place to add the security factor.

Lockable sliding door screens in the centre of the enclosure provide secure access to the area. The three-point locking system on the sliding doors forms an impenetrable barrier when closed and locked, providing peace of mind when no one is home.

The family has furnished the enclosed patio with a large dining table, television and ceiling fan, making it an integral part of their life as the perfect outdoor entertaining space.
