Knauf EarthWool duct insulation wrap, available from Higgins Insulation , is comprised of highly sustainable glasswool, and is suitable for use as external insulation on commercial or residential heating and air conditioning ducts.
Providing thermal and acoustical insulation, this duct insulation wrap can be used on the exterior of rectangular or round sheet metal ducts, as well as spaces or surfaces that require the control of temperature and condensation.
EarthWool duct insulation wrap provides condensation control when the product is faced with a foil of appropriate duty classifications.
The material does not support microbial growth, and conforms to AS/NZS 4859.1: 2002 Materials used in the Thermal Insulation of Buildings standard. EarthWool duct insulation wrap also complies with all Building Code of Australia (BCA) requirements.
