Hettich Australia announces the introduction of an enhanced range of Intermat fast assembly hinges featuring new improvements for better application in kitchen and furniture design.

Hettich is the preferred brand for well designed, quality hardware fittings in the design industry. The tried and proven range of Intermat fast assembly hinges from Hettich gives kitchen and furniture manufacturers the right solution for various applications.

The newly improved Intermat range features a 165-degree wide angle hinge, which now uses the Sensys arm for zero protrusion; the Sensys mounting plate is required for this hinge. The wide angle hinge can be used with the Sensys opening angle limiter (120-105 degrees), and also integrated with the optional Silent System for gentle closing of doors.

Additional improvements to the Intermat fast assembly hinges include overlay adjustment with overturning guard for more safety; overlay adjustment parameters set to ±2mm; depth adjustment with a defined zero position at +2.5mm/-1.5mm; and corrosion protection meeting quality requirements under EN ISO 9927-2012.

The Intermat range includes hinges with opening angles of 110 degrees, profile door hinges with a 95-degree opening angle, wide angle hinges with an opening angle of 165 degrees, special purpose hinges for unusual carcase angles of W 45 degree and W 90 degrees, as well as hinges for glass doors. Available for all standard drilling patterns, the hinges offer various options for attaching the hinge cup.

Intermat’s impressive line-up of hinges is complemented by a large number of mounting plates and stylish cover caps for the hinge arm. The Silent System is matched to the size and weight of the door at an adjustment wheel to ensure optimum soft closing action.

Designed for easy and fast installation, straightforward adjustment, stability, attractive design and reliable quality, Intermat is a well-established brand for fast assembly hinges with over 1 billion units produced since their launch in 1993.
