How to make living spaces work beautifully inside and out was highlighted by Hettich ’s collaboration with Surry Hills-based design company bleux, at DesignEx this year.

Bleux were commissioned by Hettich to develop a range of contemporary designs to provide examples of the aesthetic opportunities available with its new glass DesignSide panels on its Innotech drawer systems and on overhead cabinetry.

“The design potential with these products is limitless,” said Hettich Marketing Manager Dave Angus.

“They can be tailored to reflect personal taste in a residential setting, or could provide an appealing branding opportunity in retail environments where products are displayed in drawers,” said Mr Angus.

The display created lots of interest amongst the architectural and design community generating numerous leads that will drive the Hettich brand and project sales in the near future.

“We are very pleased with the result generated at DesignEx and we are currently following up on the leads,” said Mr Angus.

Hettich’s DesignEx display was spread over a number of “rooms” showcasing the applications for Hettich’s products in a range of settings throughout residential and commercial spaces such as retail, hospital, health and aged care environments.

In addition to the Innotech drawer systems the display featured Hettich’s sensys integrated dampening hinge and the magic LED lighting ranges.
