Helioscreen have recently completed the installation of a Sideline privacy screen at a private residence in Mosman, NSW.

The screen provides protection for low-angled westerly sun and privacy from neighbours when using the deck. It took three weeks to make the screen and 1.5 hours to install.

The client was very happy with the results and has decided to order another sideline privacy screen for a different area.

Sideline privacy screens are most often used in private homes or cafes, providing a retractable screen that can be used when required, without additional building work. They are ideal for balconies, terraces and garden areas.

The Sideline complements any external facade and was developed in a modern European-styled cassette design.

Architectural grade extruded aluminium with durable powder coat finishes are used with Helioscreen’s extensive external ranges Helioshade 100, Helio 86 and Helio 93 to make the Sideline privacy screens.

Key features include:
•         adaptable mounting – can be mounted on the floor, wall, or by using a lawn mandrel or a concreted floor holder
•         discreet – mounting brackets allow the cassette to rest on the mounting surface without a gap
•         secure lock – a child-proof lock avoids kickbacks or unwanted opening
•         a caster is used for ease in extending and retracting

A straight Sideline screen can have a maximum height of 2100mm with maximum projection of 4000m. A sloped screen can have a maximum height of 2500mm with maximum projection of 4000mm and a maximum angle of 20º.
