Engineered timber planks from the Henley range by Havwoods met all the design objectives during the fitout of a boutique office situated in a heritage building in Sydney.

Located on Barrack Street in Sydney CBD, the office was designed by Giles Tribe Architects for a boutique financial firm. Forma Projects completed this complex fitout within the state heritage building.

Forma’s scope of works included Hazmat removal, significant heritage restoration, acoustic flooring upgrades of the existing timber structure and new office fitout.

To achieve Giles Tribe Architects’ design intent, Forma chose Henley Oak Cambria engineered boards from Havwoods.

Mark Broadley from Giles Tribe Architects said, “The design intent was to reveal and celebrate the industrial heritage of the former warehouse space whilst creating a distinctive identity, with a contemporary and minimal aesthetic for the new office fitout.

“The colour, finish and character of the Havwoods Henley Oak Cambria engineered boards met this brief perfectly.”
