Havwoods has introduced the new Valour UV oil finish in their Venture Plank engineered timber flooring range.
Delivering excellent resistance to abrasions, scratches and impacts, the new UV oil finish leaves a natural raw oil look, assures colour fastness, and also meets environmental goals with its durability, which is comparable to that of lacquered finish.
Tested under standardised conditions, Valour UV oil finish has been found to be ahead of most engineered timber flooring products in the market. The DIN EN 13442 test involved the application of several products such as distilled water, olive oil, detergent, milk, acetone, coffee, ethanol, black tea, red wine and ammonia to a Valour coated surface, with no visible change observed even after 24 hours.
This durability makes the Valour finish perfectly suitable for retail, hospitality, commercial, residential and multi-residential projects, especially in high traffic areas.
Valour UV oil finish ensures the coated surface can be easily cleaned and maintained, and increases the longevity of floors. Valour finish products are also FSC certified (FSC C009500) and come with a Cradle-to-Cradle Certified BRONZE rating.
