Custom Constructions was engaged by the owners to transform a dated and tired beach shack into a modern beach home with the ultimate coastal chic.
Located in Palm Beach, NSW with an amazing oceanfront setting, the home was in dire need of an urgent makeover to match the stunning views and saltwater lifestyle.
Working closely with the owner, Custom Constructions chose a colour and materials palette that was inspired by the beach setting. The new design used neutral, sandy tones to achieve a relaxed, modern beach home aesthetic.
Havwoods Amazon Wide Plank was selected as the timber flooring throughout the home due to its beautiful natural hues, with its 260mm width providing a feeling of added space to each room.
"We loved the 260mm width and the natural finish of the Amazon Wide Plank. The quality of the board was a deciding factor. Havwoods were great to work with, always communicating with us throughout the project, from choosing our board, lead times and distribution, to following up to see how the installation went," said Sam Pollnow, Custom Constructions.
