BioWood composite flooring, available from Green Resources Material Australia Pty Ltd , contains all the aesthetic and functional attributes of timber without the disadvantages of cracking, splitting, rotting and splintering.

Sourced through chain of custody certification system, PEFC, Biowood is the environmentally friendly alternative to real timber. Additionally, unlike timber, when subject to fire, BioWood is self-extinguishing.

Not intended for use as structural flooring, BioWood is designed to be installed using the direct stick “wet-lay” method over wood sub floors or concrete substrates using a polyurethane based adhesive.

Due to its waterproof components, BioWood composite flooring is suitable for bathroom, kitchen and laundry applications. A water based anti-slip coating is recommended for additional safety in residential homes.

Key features and benefits of BioWood composite flooring include:

  • Lightweight and durable
  • Termite resistant
  • Fire and water resistant
