GH Commercial supplied a custom woven Axminster carpet by Feltex for the stunning corridors of the MACq 01 Hotel in Hobart. Overlooking the Derwent River and stunning Mount Wellington, the MACq 01 Hotel stands proudly in white cypress and vast glass panelling, reflecting Hobart’s incandescent waterfront.
The long corridors of the Hobart hotel showcase a striking design, captured masterfully in the custom woven Axminster carpet by Feltex. The design brief sought a high quality, hardwearing carpet that could stand up to heavy traffic, while also making a visual impact with its discerning style. The charcoal base of the stunning floorcovering provides the perfect platform for the sparkling gold highlight running down the corridor.
The Feltex carpet is also featured in the themed guestrooms with the Cable Bay cut pile twist adding warmth and comfort to the space.
The Landscape restaurant and grill designed to provide a premium dining experience for guests, uses another custom woven floorcovering to complement the warm sophisticated space.
