Formica has introduced eight new decors to its commercial flooring range, featuring trendy colours and finishes inspired by timber and designed specifically for Australian interiors.

Formica floors offer greater durability than most timber flooring options, making them ideal for retail or commercial applications that require the natural beauty of timber as well as the ability to withstand the rigours of commercial use.

The five new decors in the Formica Laminate flooring range include the earthy tones of Dijon Oak, Modena Oak and Smoked Oak, perfect for creating intimate spaces, and the lighter colours of Whitewashed Oak and Blackbutt to create the appearance of more space. The new decors are available in the matt finishes of Structured Vintage or Structured Fabulous, complementing the new colours with the natural texture and character of timber.

The new colours in the Formica Supergloss flooring range are Tasmanian Blackwood, Queensland Walnut and Spotted Gum, all offering a lustrous polished look to deliver consistent pattern variation and realistic woodgrain depth. The new colours reflect the purity and natural beauty of timber.

Formica Marketing Manager, Vivienne Rosta commented that the new decors help designers and specifiers achieve the same warmth, character and richness of traditional timber in modern retail fitouts, office spaces and other commercial and residential projects. Users also benefit from the quick installation and low maintenance of Formica flooring.

With the latest additions, the Formica Flooring range consists of a total of 17 contemporary colours in a variety of finishes, and choice of 8mm or 12mm thickness. All 12mm options include a pre-adhered silent underlay for superior insulation.

Formica Flooring is made in Europe, and sold with a seven-year commercial warranty.
