The new Marmoleum Unexpected Nature flooring collection from Forbo Flooring is surprising and as natural as the places that inspired it. This new flooring collection from Forbo is set to be unveiled at designEX 2011. designEX will run from the 13th to the 15th April at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and Forbo Flooring will be located at stand 1100.

The new flooring collection draws on nature’s more unusual colours and colour combinations. It includes nine marbles in unexpected fluorescent to rich colours, and nine charcoal banded options. The designs are fresh and emit a tangible sense of tension through contrasts of soft and strong, saturated and pastel, rough and delicate, heavy and light and cool and warm.

All designs are inspired by authentic, non-manipulated images of real landscapes; the unexpected colours lend themselves to the creation of combinations that push the boundaries of what is thought of as linoleum.

Forbo Marmoleum is made of 100 percent bio-based content and carries third-party independent LCA based environmental certifications as well as a 100 year plus track record of performance and durability. Marmoleum sets a benchmark in the resilient flooring industry.

The new sustainable flooring range features permanent natural properties that kill MRSA and Norovirus, and it is naturally anti-static. It is also R10 slip rated, features Topshield for no sealing, offers easy low cost cleaning and is Good Environmental Choice Award (GECA) certified for 100 percent points in Green Star calculators. The flooring also complies with ISO 14001:2004.
