Enerpac announces a new range of hydraulic torque wrenches designed to combine the simplicity, reliability and quality of the proven S&W Series with advanced safety and performance features.

Enerpac’s new X-Edition hydraulic torque wrenches are available in two models: the S-Series square drive torque wrenches and the W-Series low profile hexagon wrenches. Both models feature a tough manifold design assuring enhanced safety, and are available in standard or optional tilt and swivel configurations.

Key features of X-Edition hydraulic torque wrenches include robust positioning handles on each side ensuring safe and easy handling while providing additional manoeuvrability; additional top handle mount on the W-Series facilitating safe fastening by keeping operator’s hands clear of pinch points even in hard-to-reach applications; and solid steel construction for maximum durability and minimal deflection.

Consisting of only a few, easily accessible moving parts, X-Edition tools allow for quick and easy maintenance, increased uptime and reduced total cost of ownership.

According to Kurt Huber, Global Product Manager – Bolting, Enerpac, the X-Edition tools incorporate the performance and simplicity of their standard S&W line, with the additional features providing a unique combination of safety and performance to give operators the best hydraulic fastening solution along with ease of use.

All X-Edition hydraulic torque wrenches are performance tested and shipped with a factory calibration certificate and CE-ATEX declaration in every tool box. For enhanced traceability, the model number, CE number and ATEX designation are engraved in the tool body.

X-Edition torque wrenches have replaced standard S&W Series tools as of April 1, 2015 in Canada and the United States. X-Edition cassettes, drive units and most accessories are compatible with standard tools.
