Strand woven bamboo flooring available from Style Australasia will be featured throughout the new Triptych luxury apartment development located at Southbank in the heart of Melbourne’s arts precinct.

Style’s GECA-certified bamboo flooring was specified because of its strong environmental credentials, natural characteristics, excellent hardness qualities and design suitability.

The multi-residential apartment project features Style’s 96mm x 12mm pre-finished T&G range in Natural and Coffee colours.

Featured throughout all living and atrium areas, the bamboo flooring has been installed using Sika’s proprietary AcouBond full surface bonding and acoustic system. This ensures excellent sound dampening to meet the strict requirements for noise transmission in multi-residential construction.

Triptych is a sustainable building project with a striking facade of 29 levels and containing innovative vertical villages. A range of significant sustainable initiatives has been incorporated into the project including water harvesting, passive engineering and co-generation.

Along with Style renewable bamboo flooring, the project will certainly make a strong contribution in negating any impact on climate change.

The bamboo flooring range is pre-finished with six UV coatings in a combination of natural and contemporary colours.

Style branded products are independently certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), and Australia’s only eco-certified bamboo flooring products.

The certification is an advantage for designers, specifiers, the building community and consumers as it provides scientifically credible information for sustainable development.

The GECA ecolabel is acknowledged by the Green Building Council of Australia and enables critical Green Star rating points to be awarded for sustainable developments, residential construction and fit-outs.
