Only weeks remain for architects, interior designers, colour consultants and students of interior design or architecture across Australasia to make their submissions for the Dulux Colour Awards 2013.

Entries to the 27th Dulux Colour Awards 2013 will close on 8 February.

Entrants can showcase their creative use of colour and be recognised and awarded as industry leaders in a range of diverse categories including Commercial Interior, Commercial Exterior, Single Residential Interior, Single Residential Exterior, Multi Residential Interior, Multi Residential Exterior, and Students (Years 1 to 6).

Winners from each category will earn industry recognition, accolades and up to $1,000 in prize money ($500 for students) in addition to an automatic entry into the prestigious Grand Prix award. The Grand Prix award winner will receive an additional $1,500 as well as return economy airfare and accommodation to a renowned design event.

Dulux’s Colour & Communications Consultant, Bree Leech comments that the Awards provide a platform for recognition of exceptional talent exhibited by the highly creative participants.

Bringing an impressive depth of experiential knowledge in colour, design and architecture to the competition, this year’s judging panel comprises of Debbie Ryan, interior designer and owner of architectural practice, McBride Charles Ryan; Dana Tomic Hughes, business owner and editor of design blog Yellowtrace; Adrian Doyle, Melbourne street artist and director of Blender Studios and Melbourne Art Tours; and Denise L’Estrange-Corbet, co-founder of New Zealand fashion label WORLD and esteemed entrepreneur.

The 27th Dulux Colour Awards winners will be announced at an invitation-only event on 20th March 2013 to be held in Melbourne.
