Two products from Dolphin Dispensers were installed at a recently developed sustainable commercial high-rise building in London.
Located at 20 Fenchurch Street, London, the iconic Walkie Talkie Building is set to be one of London’s greatest landmarks. Designed by the world-renowned architect Rafael Viñoly, 20 Fenchurch Street is visually distinctive and built for maximum efficiency with the occupational density of services designed for 1 person per 8 square metres.
Developed by a joint venture partnership between two of the UK’s leading property companies, Canary Wharf Group and Land Securities, 20 Fenchurch Street provides 680,000 sq ft of top quality offices with unrivalled panoramic views of London.
The building won the award for Best Commercial High-rise Architecture London at International Property Awards 2015.
Built for sustainability, the building incorporates several green features including sustainably sourced and FSC certified timber; non-hazardous demolition materials recycled or reused; and 422 secure bicycle parking spaces and 119 motorcycle parking spaces with associated shower and changing facilities. A greywater harvesting system is provided for WC flushing with top-up from condensate drain collection.
Products from Dolphin Dispensers used in the project included electronic infrared taps with temperature adjustment lever (blue DB150/ DB175) and Elements BC271-2 stainless steel double toilet roll holders.
