designEX  is pleased to announce their alliance with Sydney’s Design Centre Enmore TAFE to showcase the top four installation designs from its promising 2nd year Interior Design and Decoration students.

Within certain parameters, the students were asked to consider how to bring a theme to life in one of four spaces: commercial, compact residential, public or urban patio.

With the help of sponsors who will supply product and from presentations and 3D models depicting their spaces, the winning groups will transform their ideas into a designEX installation.

Danielle Fischer from exhibition organisers Diversified Exhibitions, explained, “This is a fresh idea to support creative thinking and give young up-and-coming designers a credible forum in which to get noticed,”

“The brief was specifically left open to allow these students to flex their creative muscle and they didn’t disappoint.”

The talented young designers are detailed below:

Commercial
Craig Read, Anna Sulsters and Olga Volokitina for “The State of the Art”;

Compact Residential
Joseph Gardner Sgro, Sally Farmer and Sasha Nesterenko for “The Reading Room”;

Public
Jacqueline Bosscher, Clare Eldridge and Elizabeth Phan for “Thinking outside the square to bring the design community to life”;

Urban Patio
Rosalyn Hall, Thi Do, Bonnie-Lee Schollbach and Kelly Silm for “Escape your mind”.
