DesignBUILD  has opened up the vote to visitors for best new product in the Innovation Alley awards.

The DesignBUILD Innovation Alley Best New Product award winners have in the past been selected by a panel of expert industry judges. The 2013 award winner will be chosen by 6,500+ industry trades and professionals who will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite new products or applications.

Exhibition Manager Frank Matus explains that they have opened up the vote for the best new product to visitors to ensure that the winning products, applications and companies were a direct reflection of the industry’s perceptions of innovation.

There are 25 new and innovative products showcased within the DesignBUILD Innovation Alley and visitors can view the product details on the DesignBUILD website and vote online prior to or during the three-day expo, which will be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre on 8 – 10 May 2013.

According to Mr Matus, the communication between industry, suppliers and manufacturers is exactly the collaboration that DesignBUILD is focused on, with the feedback encouraging the product innovators to keep designing new products and applications, helping them stay ahead of industry requirements.

Innovation Alley remains a popular feature for browsing, as all entries are showcased in one easy section of the expo in a dedicated non-sales environment.
