The Design Institute of Australia (DIA) is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer, who is also expected to head up the organisation sometime later this year.
Australia’s peak multi-disciplinary, professional design organisation, DIA represents professional, qualified Australian designers in nearly every category of design. The recruitment process for the DIA’s proposed new CEO will be undertaken by professional recruitment agency Bespoke Careers.
The new DIA Chief Executive Officer will provide leadership and management to the overall operations of the organisation with the aim of promoting the DIA’s influence as a peak body representing designers in Australia and enhancing its relevance to government, business, education and other industry associations.
DIA National President James Harper FDIA said that the new Chief Executive Officer would have an important role to play in furthering the DIA’s long term goals. The new Chief Executive Officer will lead the DIA into the future and act as principal advisor to the board of directors.
