The Modelcast, available from Dalchem , is a two-component rigid urethane casting compound. The Modelcast cures to Shore 70D and is tan in colour.

The Modelcast rigid urethane casting compound is rapid setting and demonstrates more flexibility than other similar materials.
The Modelcast is compatible with a wide range of fillers and can reproduce intricate detail as a result of its low viscosity.
The system is easy to process with 1:1 mix ratio and has a low setting exotherm temperature of only 77°C. the Modelcast can be demoulded in 10 minutes, which allows fast production of parts.
