PolyStud plastic tactile indicators, now supplied by CTA Australia, are engineered and purpose built to be tough and long lasting, protecting substrates from any possibility of damage.

Capable of withstanding extreme point loading and side impact, even over asphalt, these plastic tactiles provide a long term solution for anti-slip flooring, delivering an anti-slip rating of R11.

Due to the new generation of polymers used in their manufacture, PolyStud plastic tactile indicators are also UV stable, ensuring continued performance in even the harshest climatic conditions.

They are easy to install, requiring no adhesive, meaning that installations can be ready to walk on in minutes. PolyStud tactile indicators can be installed over:

  • concrete
  • bitumen
  • natural stone
  • ceramic tiles
  • pavers
  • timber
  • carpet; and
  • most other surfaces.
CTA Australia manufactures a complete range of interlocking templates for these indicators, to assist customers in ensuring their installation conforms to Australian and New Zealand Standards.

Designed to meet all aspects of the Australian/New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 1428 part 4 Tactile Ground Surface Indicators, including the minimum luminance contrast and anti-slip requirements, PolyStud tactile indicators also comply with the Building Code of Australia and exceed the anti-slip requirements of AS/NZ4586.
