The Powderseal cavity system incorporates all the high quality standard design features of the CS Cavity Sliders system with the added benefit of extruded aluminium jambs.

The Powderseal jambs are a one-piece jamb and architrave aluminium extrusion offering strength and rigidity to any door opening.

All jambs are fitted with wool pile seals. The Powderseal is made to measure for door sizes as small as servery units up to 3000mm high x 3500mm wide.

The standard Powderseal unit, made for single doors, is designed to fit into 90mm framework with 13mm wall linings on either side.

The maximum door weight the Powderseal cavity system can support is 120kg when using two standard carriages. If the door panel happens to weigh more than 120kg, heavy-duty carriages or extra carriages can be used (Quantities and type of carriages are normally calculated by CS Cavity Sliders).

The aluminium head jambs on the Powderseal unit are removable to facilitate easy installation and removal of the door panel, even after installation.

The design of the head jambs eliminates the need for unsightly pelmets. The Powderseal cavity system is designed to allow for the door to finish flush with the split jambs, when in the open position, gaining the maximum opening available and hiding the door panel from view.

There are many configurations of cavity sliding systems within the CS Cavity Sliders range that can include the Powderseal option for the jambs e.g. Bi-Parting, Multiple overtaking, Easi-open, Soundstop, etc.
