Prefabricated screens from Covet International were installed at a modern dual townhouse development in Seaholme, Victoria, delivering a beautiful finish.

Featuring floor to ceiling windows, ceiling cavities and glass balustrades, these dual townhouses were built to capture natural light. By installing Covet's Ever Art Wood prefabricated Doubuchi screening and Kabebari batten two-part profiles, the residents can enjoy the sunlight without compromising their privacy. The timber look Doubuchi prefabricated screens also serve as a feature that injects warmth into the facade.

Made to measure, the Doubuchi screening was prefabricated in Japan and delivered to site ready to install without any extra labour. Built using hollow section battens, the screens proved an economical choice.

The photorealistic timber look screening in textured Kuri Masame battens were also used in the development. Lightweight Ever Art Wood Kabebari two part concealed fix 30x50 battens in the same colour were installed as batten cladding on the garage doors.

Ever Art Wood products performed well when tested to AS/NZ 1530.3 (spread of flame/ index 0) and AS/NZ 3837-1998 (result/ Group 1).
