Clearmake present their revolutionary mobile wash down and water recycling truck. The truck is capable of washing 600 sqm of hardstand area, while using and recycling about 1,200 litres of water per hour.

The cleaning equipment operates at 5,000 psi pressure and the truck does not rely on external power supply or mains water, during a normal 10 hour work day. The recycling part of the truck was developed by Noosaville based water treatment experts Clearmake Pty Ltd and is fully automated. Clearmake made it into the QLD Top 400 this year and has big plans for the future.

Phil MacLean, Director of ecoClean says, “While normal operators are simply losing the water into the storm water drain or sewer, we are recovering and recycling it. This protects the environment and saves our clients a lot of money. Because we are recovering the water, the cleaned areas (e.g. in a cold room or storage area) can be reused immediately. This reduces the client’s down time and makes our services superior.”

EcoClean is going to globally market the entire system, including the Clearmake Mobile Water Recycling System for which a patent application has been granted.

“Globally the demand for this solution is enormous. Cities like Las Vegas and Singapore have the highest demand due to their constant water shortage,” MacLean says.

“Councils often do not reinforce their environmental regulations and water restrictions due to the lack of suitable solutions,” Brent Lenehan, Managing Director of Clearmake says. “Having such a system available in their city will allow the council representatives to offer a complete solution to those companies in need of indoor or outdoor hardstand cleaning.”
