ChemDry Metro  Carpet Cleaning Melbourne won the Chem-Dry International Franchise of the Year 2011 award at the Chem-Dry Convention held recently in Newport Beach, California, USA.

ChemDry Metro was chosen from a field of 4,500+ Chem-Dry businesses worldwide including from the US, England, Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand and Canada. In addition to bringing the award back to Australia, ChemDry Metro also had the singular honour of being Melbourne’s first-ever recipient of the title.

According to business owner and Director Antonio Lewis, the award motivates them to continue the superior quality of customer experience delivered at their facility. ChemDry Metro specialises in cleaning services for carpets, rugs, tiles and upholstery.

Describing their experience at the event, Kellie Lewis, fellow Director and business owner said that the prestigious award ceremony was the finale to a wonderful three-day seminar. The announcement of the award was preceded by a listing of all the wonderful accomplishments of the winner such as dedication to customer service, attention to detail when undertaking a job, uniting the franchises within the region and growing the brand.

ChemDry Metro also had the opportunity to meet up with some very passionate business owners of very inspiring small and large scale businesses from across the globe.

Kellie describes their customer-focussed business policy as one where every customer is treated with courtesy and respect, and the best result ensured for every job. This simple philosophy is obviously working for ChemDry Metro as over 85% of their business is from repeat clients that would not consider going anywhere else.

Antonio and Kellie established the carpet cleaning business in 2007 and have been nominated for several local awards in Melbourne. The business is located in Lindaway Place, Tullamarine, a business district in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Both have undertaken numerous IICRC (Industry Benchmark) courses to develop and increase their business offering.

Achievements in the last twelve months include Kellie Lewis being appointed Victorian State Representative to strengthen brand awareness, and Antonio Lewis appointed National Trainer for his exceptional understanding of the products and equipment with Chem-Dry Australia entrusting him to impart his knowledge through a training program to other businesses across the nation. This is part of Chem-Dry's ongoing effort to remain the leading carpet cleaning company around the world.
