Chatterton Lacework recommends the use of aluminium lacework to replace existing worn-out cast iron lacework in heritage properties. Similarly, replacing cast iron balustrades with decorative aluminium heritage lace balustrades will enhance any property as the old cast iron products will look very worn-out after being on the property for over one hundred years.
Old lacework products can be replaced in cast iron or with the excellent aluminium castings available on the market today. Original heritage cast iron lacework can be reproduced in both small and large quantities, and will look almost identical to the original castings.
Lace balustrade panels can be reproduced in a similar way to aluminium lacework or cast iron lacework while restoring a heritage property.
