Peak Detect from Chamberlain Australia is a modification to the receiver circuit on Merlin garage door openers that enhances reception capabilities, helps control RF interference and prevents garage doors being opened inadvertently.
In addition to the 433.92Mhz frequency commonly used by garage door remote transmitters, Chamberlain Peak Detect adds intelligent technology that eliminates signals that are classified as ‘wrong’ or ‘weak’, and creates time and space for the stronger signal to be detected more accurately and accepted by the garage door opener.
The current range of Merlin remote transmitters all work with this new Peak Detect receiver technology.
